Competition Rules


All performers who submit an application form agree to abide by all of our Terms and Conditions as set out below.

Performers should be confident and of a high professional standard in the areas of performance, tease, audience engagement, visual presentation of costume and styling. They must demonstrate an innate understanding of musicality within their movement and timing.

Entrants must be over 18 years of age.

Full nudity is not permitted, competitors must wear pasties and a thong at a minimum.

This is a competition for solo performers.

4 minute time limit per act

Cash alternatives for prizes are not available.

Running order to be determined in advance by a random drawing.

No fire or pyrotechnics acts at all

Carry on props are permitted but no major props or setup.

Minimal mess is permitted, on the condition that the competitor provides a drop sheet large enough to cover the area they will be performing on. This covers all acts using WATER, GLITTER, MILK, PAINT, FOOD, CONFETTI, BUBBLES ETC AND ALL OTHER LIQUIDS, in consideration of the next competitor.

Stage set up is permitted but cannot take more than 2 minutes in total to set up and clean up.

Each application must include a link to a video showing only the contestant performing. It can be any length but only needs to be about 30 seconds. This does not need to be of professional quality.

Each competitor is required to sign a consent form permitting the use of any and all video and photographs taken during the competition for future promotional purposes.

Competitors are required to promote the sale of the event, via use of personal mailing lists, websites, and social media (including but not limited to Facebook).


Classic Burlesque

A routine in celebration of the art of burlesque

Isis wings and feather fans are permitted in a classic show but no other props are permitted


A routine with a particular emphasis on humour

Props are permitted


A routine which emphasis the use of a prop which could either be considered classic or comedy

Props are permitted


Entrants must be male or identify as male

Isis wings and feather fans are permitted in this category minimal hand held props are permitted

The producers reserve the right to split, combine or cancel categories as they see fit

Judging Criteria

All performers will be judged by the guest judges on the following criteria

  • Musicality
  • Audience Engagement
  • Use of the Stage
  • Costume/Visual Presentation
  • Tease and Performance

The winner of each category will be determined by a combination of judges scores and audience vote. Each will count for 50% of the score and the performer with the highest combined score will be the winner.


All competitors receive valuable feedback from the judges

All competitors will receive professional video footage of their performance

The competitor who places first in each category will receive a cash prize of £100 in addition to other goodies to be revealed

The top three competitors will receive a trophy

The closing date for entries is 11:59pm on Saturday 31st March 2018 and no late entries will be accepted.
